On 15-16 March, 2014 Mia Ruane be participating in a very special event called The Weekend to End Women's Cancers™ benefiting the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR).

Mia will walk 60 kilometres in two days and sleep out with thousands of other women and men. The proceeds will support breast and gynaecologic cancers research, treatment, and services.

Mia has committed to raising at least $2,000, but she has set my personal goal at $3,000 so she needs your help.

New information booklet has been published to assist Irish emigrants planning a move to Queensland and Western Australia.
It contains information on visas, housing, schools, healthcare, tax, employment and visas, as well as detailed estimates of living costs in the region and a list of useful contacts. 
IASAQ and the Claddagh Association are part of the LINK network of Irish welfare organisations in Australia.
